This Friday Anthony and Monique will be back at the Takapuna RSA & Social Club to host the Karaoke night. We have had some great nights and lots of talented and wonderful singers.

Brother Christmas Spectacular 2010 at Fraser Park, Lower Hutt 2010

Hello again,

The TMI Effect team were proud to be part of the Cradle Rockers Band at this years Brother Christmas Spectacular 2010 event at Fraser Park in Lower Hutt City.
Wellington/Lower Hutt put on the best weather again and gathered an audience of around 30,000 people who came to enjoy the weather, pre-show entertainment, the carols and the fireworks.

Well done to Andrew Galloway and Darryn Gadd and their amazing team for organizing this awesome event and their hospitality, was a pleasure working with you. Steve Joll from The Breeze in Wellington was also there as our MC....well done Steve!!! And our friends The Funky Monkeys were also then to entertain the kids of all ages...well done guys!!!!

Also a big thank you to you all who came out to this event and made this such an enjoyable time, definitely  had the Christmas spirit as a lot of the feedback from various people.

The Hastings market boasts more than 50 stallholders year round and up to 15 seasonal, drawing crowds every Sunday to the Hawkes Bay A&P Showgrounds. People see, touch, smell, taste and buy fresh quality produce and genuine artisan products directly from the producer. 
 
On Sunday 14th November 2010 the Hastings market will be celebrating the past 10 years, thanking customers for their support and acknowledging stallholders with a celebration of all things grown and made in Hawke’s Bay.
 
“We have all sorts of activities and points of interest during this special market”, Emma Glover the HBFM coordinator says, ‘it is a very special day for us all and we want our customers to enjoy the day as much as we are planning to. All stallholders will have great specials on offer for this market so everyone is encouraged to come along and make the most of these offers. Stallholders will also be “dressing” their stalls, this will create some very interesting looks, and customers will get the opportunity to vote for the one they think is the best” Emma says.

Emma also adds “for the children we have - Zappolina a children’s entertainer who won children’s entertainer of the year in 2010, she will be doing short children’s performances throughout the day to ensure our young customers are kept happy too.”

The volunteer fire brigade will be promoting their safe cooking message and will be giving away smoke alarms so there will be something for everyone.

2nd November Melbourne Cup and Karaoke at ECHO BAR, Awesome Evening !!!!

Last night I was stepping in for Johnny to run the Karaoke....Thank you all for coming along last night to the Echo Bar especially Justin, Shayno, Alastair, Wayne and all the students that stepped up and sang, you all sounded great and we had so many songs and keen singers unfortunately we ran out of time.... always next week and if you arrive earlier you'll get more songs.

As for the Melbourne cup we had a sweepstake running organized by Troy and the lovely lady at the end of the bar won... well done!!! The track looked pretty wet, hope Johnny and Lisa enjoyed themselves in Melbourne, would have been a great atmosphere from what i hear.

A big thanks again to Troy for looking after me and your hospitality, always a breeze hanging out at the echo bar as its a great venue to host your parties or functions and children are welcome.

Johnny will be back this Sunday again for Karaoke from 5.30 - 10pm and then on Tuesday from 5.30 - 7.30. Please go along and support him!!!!

ASG Parent and Child Show 29th-31st Oct 2010

At this years ASG Parent and Child Show Zappolina was the MC and Entertainer and she did such a great job of it, introducing various acts or exhibitions, also accompanied by Bubbles the Magical rabbit in the magic shows. Zappolina started working with the Parent and Child show 11 years ago in Wellington and has continued to do so here in Auckland.

Magic Heidi and Magic Anthony had the opportunity to be involved, they entertained the children and parents with songs and dance, had great feedback from various other acts and organizers. We had a great time and we look forward to the next one. We met lots of amazing people who share a passion for education and the Children.

Wow! What an amazing weekend at The ASG Parent and Child Show ! It was so good to meet the Wot Wots and all the talented children who danced on the main stage!!! I had a great time with the people from got to ice cup cakes with the New Idea team and lots of children, got to run a fashion show Belly Beyond AND I got to dance and sing with my special friends Anthony Dahya and Heidi Shead! What a cool weekend.

Anthony and Monique had the great pleasure of being part of this International Event and we had a great time!

Monique Bradley was the Master of Ceremony for the awards and presentation evening.

Anthony and Monique then entertained the guests with some Vintage, Jazz, Motown and Soul music whilst the guests enjoyed drinks and nibbles and mingled with other exhibitors. Was great to see everyone enjoying our music and those who got on the dance floor and had a boogie.

Thank you to you all from the Northport Events and Diversified Exhibitions teams and especially Dona White and Matt Pearce for the opportunity to be a part of the awesome event. The exhibits were amazing, and a very professional trade-show.  Also thank you to Edwards team for the awesome sound and being wonderful!

Zappolina and Magic Anthony along with Bubbles and Peanut the Magical rabbits had another great day at Animates Albany and the wonderful staff..... Thank you to you all for your hospitality!!

We had a few children come through and had their faces painted by Zappolina, and balloons created by Magic Anthony.

Bubbles and Peanut again got to meet all the lovely children and their parents and had a great time too :)

Monique and I have been thinking about running some workshops for you all, so you too can learn to use your creative minds and learn to balloon sculpt... We could hold workshops for children and adults... even parties where everyone has fun but being creative and sculpting using your own ideas.

We would appreciate your feedback if your are interested in attending such a workshop..... So please feel free to write to us here and let is know your thoughts.. If you have suggestions on what you would like to sculpt let us know....... please be mindful of children who may read your comments.... you can always message us. So start thinking about it....

Photos from Animates Albany & New T-Shirts

Hello all,

The Animates Albany storytelling and balloon sculpting show was a great success and we had a great time!

Our Magic rabbits Bubbles and Peanut had a great time too meeting their furry friends and all the children and parents that came to visit them and give them hugs and pats.

Here are a couple photo's of the new T-Shirts modeled by Zappolina and Magic Anthony. The cartoon image on the yellow is 'Zappolina' and on the orange you can see Zappo and Zappolina! The t-shirts are beautiful quality, bright colours and come in Yellow, orange, purple, pink and lime!! The characters were illustrated by Ali Cowley, who was the head of Animation for BRO TOWN!! So cool!! And they come in Adults and kids sizes too!!!! So keep any eye on the site for more info and your chance to purchase on of our T-shirts.

Day 3 of Magic Friends Show at Johnsonville Shopping Centre

Hello again, Here is a update from Zappolina!












Day 3 at Johnsonville Shopping Centre for Zappo and Zappolina was amazing!!!  They had large crowds again and delighted the audiences with their cool magic and awesome illusions......Today, Zappolina's silly songlet ( it's like a singlet but you don't wear it, you sing it) was well recieved as she sung about a magic house made of lovely things like toenails and ear wax!!! Zappo giggled and smiled as he sung along and all the children thought it was very silly!!
2 more days to go, with a recording session booked at Matrix Digital on Thursday to record the 'Magic Toy House' silly songlet and the 'Welcome to Zappoland' theme song!!  Very, very exciting!!!!

Last weeks Wainuiomata Shopping Centre Shows

Hello all, Anthony here from The TMI Effect team :)
Well i returned back from Wellington on Sunday having assisted Zappolina at the Wainuiomata Shopping Centre shows on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th..which were a lot of fun… Thank you to the whole team at the Shopping Centre who were so helpful…. with the stage set up and equipment… look forward to seeing you next time.

Zappolina was awesome with her Rainbow Magic Shows and the children loved her, they also loved Bubbles and Peanut the magic Rabbits.

I had a great time assisting Zappolina with magic and balloon sculpting making, swords, flowers, fish, and more…

Zappolina's Rainbow Magic Roadshow Begins!

Hello everyone :)

Hope you all had a great Easter break, the Easter eggs and the buns!!

Well we had a nice relaxing weekend and on Sunday Zappolina drove down to Wellington to start her Rainbow Magic Roadshow and arrived safely.

Day one (6th April) -  Wainuiomata Shopping Centre

Zappolina and her magic helper Jordan were at the Wainuiomata Shopping Centre sounds like they had a great time entertaining the children..

Report from Zappolina: Performed two great shows in Wainuiomata Shopping Centre! Had my wee cousin Jordan performing as well and he was amazing!!!! In fact, he was probably a bit better than me..... !!!

Day two (7th April) - Wainuiomata Shopping Centre

Report from Zappolina: Had a super day in Wainuiomata Shopping Centre! Great shows and awesome to see so many children!!!!

Day three (8th April) 10.30am Masterton Library

Zappolina and Zappo the Magician will be performing one show at Masterton Library. If you are around the Masterton area be sure to pop in and say hi to Zappolina and Zappo the Magician….

Day four - six (9th - 11th April) two shows 11am and 1pm

If you are around the Wainuiomata Shopping Centre be sure to pop in and say hi to Zappolina… Magic Anthony will be joining her on the 10th and 11th April, also meet our cute furry friends Bubbles and Peanut.

Next Week Zappolina and Zappo will be at the Johnsonville Shopping Centre!!
