Hello all,
Well Monique and I along with our two rabbits drove down on Friday 5th March to Wellington.
Was a lovely drive and was great to catch up with family and spend time with them, and eat mum's yummy cooking.
On Saturday morning, Heidi flew down for the gig as she was working on friday and we picked her up at 8am from Wellington Airport then made our way to the Karapoti Park for the largest mountain biking event in Australasia.
There were a lot of people at the event who were all excited to get the races underway. The weather started off with a little rain but it improved as the day went on. There were lots of families who had come to support.
We set up our stage and kicked off the entertainment around 12pm, singing around 53 songs over 4 hours and had a lot of great feedback on how well balanced our vocals were and how tight we sounded. We had songs from all different genres.... please checkout the Repertoire page for the set list!!
Thank you too all our supporters including family for your support, encouragement and feedback.
Finally we drove back to Auckland on the 7th March, another great drive and it only took 7.5 hours.
We are looking forward to the next event.
